I'm what you call a lifer, or someone that has snow in her heart and a board strapped to my feet eternally. My life doesn't revolve around the latest television show or celebrities in magazines (unless you count High Cascade Summer Camp). I have the privilege of living on Mount Hood, or Government Camp, Oregon. The only place in the world where we have year round shred, which is f*#king awesome if you don't count Joe Brady and those summer gypsies (just kidding guys, see you this summer!) This town is in need of some serious girl shred pazazz and there are some bad ass girls around Hood and all over the world. Lets face it girls, we know this is a male dominated sport but lets change that! Thats where I and anyone else who wants can come in, I want to write about all things womens snowboarding and some guys from here in the northwest to all around the world, your like damn thats cool and I say Yes, yes I know and I ask myself why haven't I thought of this before? Why live in the past when It's snowing right now!
This season got a new snowboard and It has compleltey changed my life, I'm olliying like 15 feet in the air off flat ground and buttering almost at a 90 degree angle, dust off that old retractor ladies and gents cause I'm going obtuse! Wow, what kind of board could that possibly be you ask? Why it's acutally 2011/2012 Bataleon FeelBetter 152 cause i'm 5'10. but holy crap I love the tbt (triple base technogly) more about that later. Les Ettes colaboration with Bataleon couldn't of been a better choice, graphics are just like some one chucked a nunch of cupcakes at it and its girly but still bad ass. The response of this board is unbelievable almost as cool as the Les Ettes Founder herself, Carmela Fleury. International and a insprational womens snowboarder, Carmela's company Les Ettes is the only one of it's kind, a cosmetics and alchol free purfumes for ladies of the shred. Bateleon said it perfectly with there board desciption "Snowboarding makes you smell bad but Les Ettes' four flavors of perfume will make you smell better. Yes, everything just got a whole lot better!" I'm having a hard time finding the web site fior Les Ettes, i wonder if there in business anymore? Anyone know?
